Job summary

Canon USA is seeking an experienced technical advisor to support sales of networked printing devices and related software, servers, and services. You will participate in customer trainings, present technical content, and help deliver professional services.

Travel up to 70% is required; hybrid work is available. A Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience are expected, with key emphasis on pre-sales and post-sales support in large format and production environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; 3–5 years related experience.
Printing pre-sales/post-sales support experience in Large Format, office and production environments.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, QuarkXPress and color management tools; familiarity with JPEG, TIFF, EPS, PDF formats.
Proficiency with PostScript/PDF tools (Acrobat Distiller). Travel up to 70% with a valid driver's license and insurance.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with sales on evaluating prospective customers and solutions; participate in sales calls.
On-site visits to customers for meetings, surveys and inspections.
Meet with customer IT staff as technical advisor.
Contribute to RFP responses and provide project management for large, complex solutions.
Assist in installation and integration of products and applications.
Generate professional services revenue and provide installation and integration direction.
