Job summary

Cisco is seeking a pre-sales technical specialist to join an Account Team, demonstrating Cisco product solutions and configuring designs to meet customer needs. You will align opportunities with customer challenges, showing business value and collaborating with Account Managers, Technical Architects, and other SEs to craft tailored architectures for large global customers.

You will act as a trusted technical adviser, stay current on competitors, and assist with formal sales plans and proposals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical sales, pre-sales, or client-facing consulting roles.
• Cisco product experience or relevant experience with key competitor offerings.
• Proven pre-sales experience, translating technical solutions into business value.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent).
• Professional certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCNP) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be a member of a customer Account Team in a pre-sales technical role, demonstrating Cisco solutions and designing configurations to meet customer needs.
• Demonstrate business value of Cisco Services, Solutions, and Architectures by aligning opportunities with customer challenges.
• Gain access to Cisco technologies in the financial services industry and present solutions with the team.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Technical Architects, and other SEs to tailor architectures for large global customers.
• Act as a trusted technical adviser within the account team and keep current on competitors’ offerings.
• Assist with development of formal sales plans and proposals for opportunities.
