Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Global Enterprise Premier Segment in the Phoenix area. You will be a trusted advisor on pre-sales engagements, demonstrating Cisco products and designing solutions to meet customer needs, traveling as required to AZ-based customers.

You’ll collaborate with Account Managers, Technical Architects, and other SEs to present architectures, translate technical solutions into business value, and contribute to formal sales plans for our largest global

Qualifications

5+ years of related experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or client-facing consulting roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; professional certifications (CCIE/CCNP) desirable.

Responsibilities

Be a member of a customer Account Team in a pre-sales technical role, demonstrating Cisco product solutions and configuring products to meet customer needs.
Demonstrate business value of Cisco Services, Solutions, and Architectures by aligning opportunities with customer challenges and priorities.
Collaborate with Account Managers, Technical Architects, and other SEs to present solutions and support architecture development for large global customers.
Provide solution and architectural perspectives across Cisco product portfolio and leverage technical specialization for opportunities.
Act as a trusted technical adviser to the account team and customers; keep up-to-date on competitor solutions.
Assist with development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
