Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join the Americas Networking Organization. You will partner with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to showcase Cisco Networking products and solutions, focusing on Secure networking including routing, switching, wireless, and automation.

You will lead RFP responses, set up demonstrations, drive proofs of value, and design configurations to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years sizing and designing Routing, Wireless and Switching deployments (On-Prem and Cloud).
• 5+ years networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, LISP) and segmentation tech (VRF, MPLS, ZeroTrust, SDA, 802.1x, Adaptive Policy).
• Knowledge of competitive networking products (HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to drive business and growth opportunities.
• Lead PoC tests and product demos for customers.
• Respond to RFPs and influence product feature roadmaps.
• Align cross-functional teams across the company.
