Job summary

Phoenix Staff, Inc. is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join its Unified Communications practice in the West. This customer-facing, pre-sales role focuses on understanding client environments and designing Avaya-based enterprise solutions that meet business needs.

You will partner with sales, lead discovery discussions, translate requirements into architectures and BOMs, and guide proposals through to delivery. Travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• Experience designing Avaya solutions in pre-sales or customer-facing consulting.
• Strong Avaya Aura, including Communications Manager.
• Experience with Avaya Aura Device Services (AADS), SBCs, SIP, gateways, and enterprise voice integrations.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise Unified Communications and Contact Center solutions with sales.
• Lead discovery and design conversations to understand environments and requirements.
• Design Avaya-based architectures for implementations, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
• Translate requirements into practical technical solutions and BOMs.
• Assess existing Avaya environments and recommended architecture, licensing, and equipment.
• Design solutions involving Avaya Aura, AADS, SBCs, SIP, and related voice technologies.
• Explain technical recommendations and business value to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery.
• Contribute to proposals, scopes of work, and design documentation.
• Navigate changing requirements and adjust solutions accordingly.
• Maintain knowledge of evolving UC/CC technologies.
• Travel as needed.
