Job summary

Presidio is seeking a skilled Solutions Architect to join our Pre-Sales Engineering Team in Detroit or Grand Rapids, MI. You will meet with customers, gather requirements for network and security projects, and craft engineered solutions to drive sales.

The role requires strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, data center switching, security, and SD-WAN, with experience presenting complex designs and enabling customers through demonstrations and BoM generation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; military experience accepted.
• 1+ years of experience in enterprise class network and security solutions.
• CCDP/CCNA/CCNP or other non-Cisco certifications are highly preferred.
• Experience in a VAR environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level technical solutions and present to customers (Hardware, Software, Licensing, Professional Services).
• Collect business and technical requirements from customers.
• Complete end-to-end, full lifecycle network designs.
• Drive whiteboard conversations and craft customer-facing presentations.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Generate BoM and collaborate to complete hardware configurations.
• Write Statements of Work and develop Professional Service pricing.
