Job summary

Presidio is seeking a Networking Solutions Architect to join the Pre-Sales Engineering Team in Detroit or Grand Rapids, MI. You will collect requirements, design end-to-end network solutions, and present to customers, covering hardware, software, licensing, and services.

The role requires enterprise networking expertise, travel up to 25%, and the ability to educate customers on complex architectures with vendors like Cisco, Palo Alto, HPE, Fortinet, and Arista.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in enterprise class network and security solutions.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
• One or more certifications: CCDP/CCNA/CCNP or other non-Cisco certifications.
• Experience in a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level technical solutions and present to customers (Hardware, Software, Licensing, Professional Services).
• Collect business and technical requirements.
• Complete end-to-end, full lifecycle network designs.
• Drive whiteboard conversations and craft customer facing presentations.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Generate hardware configurations (BoM) and coordinate with internal teams.
• Write statements of work (SoW) and develop Professional Service pricing.
• Build relationships with Account Executives and Sales teams to drive solutions.
