Job summary

Presidio is seeking a skilled Networking Solutions Architect for the Detroit or Grand Rapids, MI area. You will work within the Pre-Sales Engineering Team to gather requirements for network and security projects, develop comprehensive engineering solutions, and present them to customers.

Expect travel up to 25% and close collaboration with Account Executives to drive sales, with a focus on enterprise-class technologies from Cisco, Palo Alto, HPE, Fortinet, Arista, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (or military experience).
• Experience with enterprise class network and security solutions.
• CCDP/CCNA/CCNP or other non-Cisco certifications preferred.
• Experience in a VAR environment preferred.
• Strong design, implementation, and support knowledge of complex routing/switching, firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level technical solutions (Hardware, Software, Licensing, Professional Services).
• Gather business and technical requirements from customers.
• Design end-to-end network solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Prepare BoM configurations and collaborate with teams for pricing.
• Write statements of work (SoW) and advise on Professional Service pricing.
• Engage with sales teams to drive opportunities and build customer rapport.
• Maintain and develop technical certifications and skill sets.
