Farah & Farah Personal Injury Lawyers in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Pre-Suit Legal Assistant to support case managers and attorneys from intake through demand and resolution.

Responsibilities include gathering and organizing documents, managing case files, drafting pleadings, tracking deadlines, and maintaining client communications. Strong organizational and multitasking skills are required; bilingual Spanish is a plus. This is an in-office, full-time role in a professional setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role, preferably in personal injury law.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist case managers and attorneys in gathering and organizing case-related documents.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, both physical and electronic.
• Prepare correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents as directed.
• Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather documentation via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate communication between clients and case managers/attorneys.
• Maintain a positive and empathetic rapport with clients.
• Request, review, and summarize medical records and bills.
• Coordinate with medical providers for additional information.
• Attend onsite meetings and manage case files and data entry.
• Answer phone calls, take messages, and update contact databases.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and provide general administrative support to the pre-litigation team.
