Farah & Farah Personal Injury Lawyers is seeking a Pre-Suit Legal Assistant to support the pre-litigation team from intake through demand and resolution. The role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, and clear client communication to ensure efficient case handling and a positive experience.

The position is in-office within a Farah & Farah office and involves coordinating with case managers and attorneys, handling medical records, documents, and deadlines while maintaining

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, preferably in personal injury.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist case managers and attorneys in gathering and organizing case documents, including medical records and reports.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, both physical and electronic.
• Prepare correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents as directed.
• Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather documentation.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate communication between clients and team.
• Maintain a positive and empathetic rapport with clients.
• Medical records: request, review, and summarize records and bills.
• Coordinate with medical providers for information and clarification as needed.
• Open new case files and input data into case management software.
• Handle onsite file management and document routing.
