Farah & Farah Personal Injury Lawyers seeks an experienced Litigation Assistant with at least 2 years in a legal environment to support our attorneys in case preparation, discovery, and trial logistics. This onsite role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

You will manage case files, draft pleadings, conduct legal research, maintain case management systems, and communicate with clients and court personnel to keep matters moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a litigation role.
• Familiarity with legal terminology and processes.
• Proficient in MS Office and legal case management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail; able to multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay professional.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing case files, drafting pleadings, and preparing discovery documents.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management systems, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel regarding case updates and scheduling.
• File documents with courts and maintain compliance with all local and federal regulations.
• Prepare and organize trial exhibits and materials.
• Assist in gathering, reviewing, and summarizing evidence and documents.
• Provide general administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and maintaining files.
