Farah & Farah Personal Injury Lawyers seeks an experienced Litigation Assistant to support attorneys through trial preparation and discovery in a fast-paced Florida office.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a legal role, proficient MS Office and case management software, excellent communication, and strong attention to detail. This is a full-time, onsite position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation assistant or in a similar legal role.
• Familiarity with legal terminology and litigation processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing case files, drafting pleadings, and preparing discovery documents.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management systems, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel regarding case updates and scheduling.
• File documents with courts and maintain compliance with all local and federal regulations.
• Prepare and organize trial exhibits and materials.
• Assist in gathering, reviewing, and summarizing evidence and documents.
• Provide general administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and maintaining files.
