Job summary

RESA Power, LLC is seeking Field Techs (Power Systems Tech I–IV) to inspect, test, and service high‑voltage electrical distribution equipment. You will perform start‑ups, testing, maintenance and data collection on systems up to 500 kV, including protective relaying, switchgear and transformers.

Responsibilities include developing procedures, testing relay systems, and ensuring safety procedures across projects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and related field experience.
• Knowledge of NETA, NEC, OSHA and NFPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot and collect data on low to 500kV electrical systems.
• Install, commission, test, and maintain protective relaying equipment and switchgear.
• Develop standardized commissioning and testing procedures for relay systems.
• Perform functional testing of substation control circuits and relay operation.
• Rotate emergency on-call duties and respond to customer emergencies.
