Job summary

RESA Power is seeking Field Techs/Power Systems Technicians to service, test and maintain power transmission and distribution equipment. The role includes inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, and data collection on HV/MV/LV systems up to 500kV, and maintaining protective relays and switchgear.

Positions require safety-focused work, knowledge of NETA/NEC/OSHA/NFPA standards, and strong communication. Opportunities include field testing, commissioning, and on-site repairs with chance of travel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required; 1+ year related field experience for Field Tech.
• Knowledge of NETA, NEC, OSHA and NFPA standards.
• Ability to safely perform electrical testing and repairs on low/med/high voltage gear.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot and data-collect on HV/MV/LV electrical systems (up to 500kV).
• Install, commission, test and maintain protective relaying equipment and switchgear.
• Develop standardized commissioning and maintenance procedures for relay systems.
