Job summary

RESA Power is seeking Field Techs to service, test and maintain power transmission equipment at customer sites. The role covers Tech I–IV levels and involves on-site testing, startup, troubleshooting and data collection for systems up to 500kV.

Ideal candidates hold a High School diploma, have related field experience, and demonstrate strong safety practices, communication skills, and customer service. Travel is required, and a valid driver's license may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED and 1 year of related field experience.
• Knowledge of standards such as NETA, NEC, OSHA and NFPA.
• Ability to work safely and adhere to electrical safety procedures.
• Strong communication with customers and peers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and start-up electrical systems up to 500kV.
• Test and inspect low/medium voltage cables and switchgear.
• Maintain, test, and repair transformers and circuit breakers.
• Participate in on-call duties and respond to customer emergencies promptly.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory standards.
