Job summary

RESA Power is seeking a Sr. Service Field Tech to perform service, test and maintain various types of power transmission and distribution equipment.

The position requires inspecting, testing, startup, data collection on low to high voltage systems (up to 500kV), testing switchgear, breakers, transformers and related gear. On-site work with potential 30–50% travel; relocation available; full benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; power systems experience preferred.
• Experience with high voltage equipment and NFPA/NETA standards is expected.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and arc-flash analyses.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and start-up low, medium and high voltage equipment up to 500kV.
• Test and inspect switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers and related gear.
• Perform maintenance, testing and repair on electrical equipment and controls.
• Rotate on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies promptly.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory laws and safety procedures.
