Job summary

RESA Power in the United States seeks Field Tech/Power Systems Tech I–IV to service, test, and maintain power transmission and distribution equipment across projects.

Travel up to 50–75% and perform startup, testing, and maintenance of high/medium/low voltage gear. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 1+ year of related experience, with strong safety, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with 1+ year related experience.
• Knowledge of NETA, NEC, OSHA and NFPA standards.
• Experience with MCCs, Breakers, relay testing, oil testing, infrared scanning, and switchgear up to 500 kV preferred.
• Able to work safely and communicate effectively with customers and peers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, start-up and data-collect low to 500 kV electrical systems.
• Install, commission, test and maintain protective relaying equipment and gear.
• Develop and document standard commissioning and maintenance procedures for relay systems.
• Perform end-to-end relay testing and review relay settings against design requirements.
• Rotate on-call duties and respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Adhere to regulatory compliance and company safety policies.
