Job summary

RESA Power is seeking a Service Field Tech to inspect, test, troubleshoot and maintain high, medium, and low voltage equipment. This role involves start-ups, data collection and on-site repairs across HV systems, up to 500kV.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and strong electrical knowledge. Responsibilities include on-site customer coordination, safety compliance and potential on-call duties to support critical power services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with related field experience.
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, start-up and data-collect power systems up to 500kV.
• Test switchgear, breakers, transformers and related equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repair on high and medium voltage gear.
• Operate SF6 gear and high voltage test equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with customers and on-site teams; respond to emergencies on-call.
