Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment at customer sites. The role emphasizes problem solving, safety, and customer focus within the U.S. Services group.

Qualifications include an electrical discipline background, 2+ years in field service or equivalent, and ability to read schematics. Training in Dallas and local area onboarding are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or vocational certification in electrical disciplines or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and interpret electrical drawings.
• 2+ years of field service repair and customer service experience with electrical equipment (UPS, power distribution, switchgear).
• NFPA-70E or OSHA experience preferred.
• Strong safety practices and adherence to procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance and field modification of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues with customers, electricians, and support teams.
• Complete field service and expense reports, data sheets, and commissioning documents.
• Collaborate with managers and project teams on complex issues.
• Engage in ongoing product training and field learning.
