Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment in diverse environments. The role includes training, use of company vehicles and digital tools, and a 40-hour base with overtime.

The position is site-based with potential travel, within our U.S. Services business, focusing on power distribution and critical infrastructure equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or trade certification in electrical.
• Experience with electrical/electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and electrical drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with UPS, switchgear, ATS and PDUs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and communicate with customers, partners and teams.
• Complete field service reports and data sheets.
• Support project management on larger startups.
• Travel regionally or nationally as needed.
