Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a Field Service Representative to perform assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment across customer sites. You’ll travel regionally, support project start-ups, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, trade/vocational certification, Military training or similar experience in electrical-related disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Thorough understanding of AC/DC power and related components.
• 2+ years in field service repair and customer service with UPS/power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Collaborate with customers, electricians, sales partners, and district teams to solve problems.
• Complete field service reports and startup data sheets; manage expenses.
• Escalate complex issues with management or regional service director and participate in training.
