Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications on electrical equipment at customer sites. You will collaborate with customers, electricians, sales partners, and district service teams to resolve issues and ensure safety and reliability.

Typical duties include completing service and expense reports, supporting project management on larger start-ups, and traveling regionally or nationwide as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree, trade/vocational certification, or military training in electrical disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and electrical concepts.
• 2+ years field service repair and customer service with UPS and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Solve problems with customers, electricians, and service teams.
• Complete field service reports, expense reports, and startup data sheets.
