Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative in the United States to service power distribution equipment at customer sites. The role includes startup, repair, preventive maintenance, field modification, and close collaboration with customers, partners, and internal teams.

The position offers paid training, company vehicles and devices, and a comprehensive benefits package. A 40-hour base with overtime and travel to sites is expected; basic safety practices are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade certification in electrical-related disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with UPS, power distribution, and electrical equipment.
• Proficient computer skills and MS Office suite.
• Safety training including NFPA-70E or OSHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Coordinate with customers, electricians, and partners to resolve issues.
• Complete field service reports and data sheets.
• Collaborate with management to resolve escalated issues.
• Ongoing training on products in the field and classroom.
