Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) team is seeking a skilled engineer to design, test, and deploy PLC/HMI software for power transfer projects. You will work on Main-Tie-Main, Main-Gen, and related configurations, aligning with customer specs and internal standards.

Ideal candidates bring strong power distribution controls experience, engineering degrees, and a driver’s license. The role is hybrid, offering growth and impactful system integration opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher with relevant power distribution controls experience.
Minimum 7 years of power distribution controls experience or 5+ years with a Master’s degree or 10+ years total experience.
Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record; background check on hire.

Responsabilités

Create, modify, test, and deploy software for PLCs and HMIs for Power Transfer applications.
Follow customer and internal specifications for project implementation.
Select components and create bill of materials.
Provide sketches and direction to Electrical Designers for project drawings.
Prepare SOO, test procedures, and customer submittals.
Assist with factory testing and field start-ups as required.
Troubleshoot systems that are not functioning properly.
