Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead the planning and execution of power infrastructure programs for our client base. You will direct multidisciplinary teams and act as a trusted advisor on delivery strategies, governance, and staffing, ensuring value and quality in every phase.

In this role, you will manage scope, schedule, and budget, collaborate with engineering, controls, environmental, and real estate teams, and present to executives. Travel about 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or a closely related field
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or closely related field (preferred)
• PE License and/or PMP Certification required or preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver T&D, power generation, renewable energy projects.
• Serve as primary client contact for scope, contract management, program performance, and staffing.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, strategic, and delivery aspects of power programs.
• Direct and manage services by HDR staff and subconsultants across engineering, controls, routing, environmental, real estate, and data management.
• Develop program management plans and tools to drive efficiencies and transparency.
• Monitor scope, schedule and budget with project controls, and communicate progress in monthly reports.
