Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager in Lincoln, NE to lead multi-disciplinary teams delivering power infrastructure projects. You will advise clients on delivery strategies, governance, and staffing while coordinating with engineering, controls, environmental, and real estate teams.

The role emphasizes clear communication and client-focused solutions. The successful candidate will have a background in engineering/construction management, strong leadership, and extensive program-management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, planning, sciences, business administration, or related field.
• Program management experience meeting the thresholds for large capital programs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with client executives.
• Experience directing multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver power projects (T&D, generation, renewables).
• Serve as primary client contact on scope, contracts, and performance.
• Advise on technical, regulatory, strategic delivery and risk management.
• Direct HDR and subconsultant teams across engineering, controls, environmental, real estate, and comms.
• Assess staffing needs and ensure resources align with contracts and QA/QC standards.
• Prepare monthly program reports and dashboards for clients and internal teams.
