Job summary

Amazon.com LLC - A03 is seeking an experienced Power & Hardware Design Engineer to serve as a technical authority for power systems within the OneMHS program. You will drive standardization of power distribution and hardware solutions for material handling operations, focusing on safety, scalability, and operational excellence.

Ideally, you have a proven track record in 3-phase power system design, arc flash analysis per IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E, and hands-on hardware development for large-scale

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
Experience with large-scale power systems for material handling.
Proficient in arc-flash calculations per IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E.
Strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70 code compliance.

Responsibilities

Design, engineer, and optimize 3-phase power systems for material handling.
Develop MDBs, PDPs, and electrical substations with proper sizing and protection.
Perform arc flash studies and maintain labeling programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize specifications.
