Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Collins, MS, seeks a Poultry Processing Supervisor to oversee production line personnel, ensure compliance with HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs and USDA/OSHA requirements, and drive productivity to meet customer specifications.

You will deploy and rotate staff, monitor reports, coach employees, participate in process improvements, and partner with Quality Assurance to maintain a clean, safe, food-safe environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing setting; three years in food manufacturing or poultry preferred.
• Demonstrated one year leadership experience including knowledge of timekeeping requirements, policy adherence and conflict resolution.
• Working knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMP and HACCP.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written; multilingual communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage production line/department by establishing procedures and adjusting to meet production schedules.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reporting is accurately completed and recorded.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce repeat deficiencies.
• Lead or participate in process improvements and monitor metrics.
