Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor to oversee production line personnel, ensuring adherence to HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs and USDA/OSHA standards while achieving high productivity and meeting customer specifications.

You'll lead scheduling, training, and performance management, partnering with Quality Assurance to maintain a sanitary, safe operation across shifts. Expect non-standard hours and a fast-paced environment in a large poultry operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing; 3 years in poultry/food manufacturing preferred.
• Demonstrated 1 year of leadership experience, including timekeeping, policy adherence, and conflict resolution.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, OSHA, GMP and HACCP.
• English communication skills, verbal and written; multilingual ability preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage production line by establishing procedures and adjusting to meet production schedules.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reporting and records.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce deficiencies.
• Lead or participate in process improvements; monitor metrics.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure food safety.
• Mentor, coach and train employees; provide feedback.
• Administer performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
• Follow safety initiatives and PPE requirements.
• Work with other departments to meet goals.
• Learn and adhere to current Union contract if applicable.
• Perform additional duties.
