Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in Mississippi is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor to oversee production line personnel, ensure adherence to HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, USDA and OSHA standards, and achieve safety and quality goals.

You will deploy and rotate staff, monitor schedules and yields, partner with QA for sanitary conditions, and mentor teams while maintaining a zero-accident culture.

Must be able to work extended shifts, speak English, and communicate with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience supervising teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication, written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and schedules in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, SSOP) and OSHA guidance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production line/department personnel to meet schedules and budget targets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Maintain accurate daily reports (attendance, yields, etc.).
• Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure a sanitary, food-safe environment per USDA requirements.
• Mentor and coach employees; administer performance improvement where needed.
