Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Flowood, MS seeks a Poultry Processing Supervisor for Retail or Further processing. You will supervise line personnel, ensure compliance with HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, and federal regulations while achieving productivity and meeting customer specs.

You will deploy staff, monitor reports, and drive process improvements. Strong leadership, English communication, and attention to safety are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of manufacturing experience.
• Three years in food manufacturing or poultry industry preferred.
• One year of leadership experience with policy adherence and conflict resolution.
• Must be able to communicate in English; multilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage retail or further processing production line/department to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reporting including attendance, yields, and staffing.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce repeat deficiencies.
• Lead or participate in process improvements and monitor metrics.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure food safety and USDA compliance.
• Mentor and train employees and administer performance actions.
• Follow safety initiatives and wear required PPE.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet location goals.
• Learn and adhere to current Union contracts if applicable.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
