Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor to oversee production line personnel and ensure operations align with HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs and USDA/OSHA requirements. You will drive productivity, monitor yields and coordinate with Quality Assurance to uphold a sanitary, food-safe environment.

The role requires at least 1 year in manufacturing, with 3 years in food processing preferred, and strong leadership and communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
• Leadership experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of timekeeping, policy adherence and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production line/department personnel to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate staff to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reports are completed and accurate (attendance, yields, etc.).
• Identify opportunities to improve throughput, reduce waste and maintain quality.
• Lead process improvements and monitor metrics for trends.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to uphold food safety and USDA standards.
• Mentor and train employees; administer performance feedback and actions.
• Enforce safety policies and PPE usage; contribute to zero-accident culture.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet location goals.
