Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor to lead production line teams and ensure adherence to HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, USDA and OSHA standards while delivering productivity and meeting customer specifications.

The role emphasizes process improvement, coaching, and timely reporting, with ongoing collaboration across departments to maintain a safe, efficient operation. Candidates should have relevant manufacturing experience and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing setting.
• 3 years in food manufacturing or poultry preferred.
• Leadership experience including timekeeping, policy adherence, and conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMP and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Manage production line/department by establishing procedures to meet production schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reports are completed and recorded (attendance, yields, etc.).
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce deficiencies (throughput, waste, etc.).
• Lead or participate in process improvements and monitor metrics.
