Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead poultry debone and slaughter operations on site in Enterprise, Alabama. You will direct supervisors and a large team, ensuring safety, efficiency and adherence to USDA requirements.

The role emphasizes coaching, process optimization, and cross-department collaboration to maximize throughput while controlling costs. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent AND 4 years' relevant experience in a similar manufacturing environment; OR Associates Degree in a relevant discipline AND 2 years' relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years' leadership and/or supervisory experience of 20+ persons.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline preferred with 5+ years in food manufacturing and supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist Production Supervisors with supervising and training employees.
• Manage production processes and employee performance, providing feedback.
• Promote safety and ensure reporting requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner.
• Supervise, coach and train employees, supporting professional development.
• Work with Quality Assurance to ensure a food-safe environment and USDA compliance.
• Establish and adjust procedures to meet schedules, efficiencies, and budgets.
• Maximize yields and throughput while minimizing downtime and turnover.
• Plan process improvements and ensure adherence to HACCP, SSOPs and GMPs.
