Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of manufacturing experience; three years in food manufacturing or poultry preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience including timekeeping, policy adherence, conflict resolution, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production line/department to meet schedules and budget objectives.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure accurate daily reporting (attendance, yields, etc.).
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce deficiencies.
• Lead process improvements and monitor metrics; collaborate with QA for safety and USDA compliance.
• Mentor, coach, and train staff; administer performance improvement plans as needed.
• Maintain safety standards, PPE use, and zero-accident culture.
• Work with other departments to meet location goals; understand union contract if applicable.
