Job summary

The role directs a team through supervisors, maintains safety, and enforces food safety programs under USDA guidelines.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, boosting yields, ensuring HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, and timely reporting; and planning improvements to meet production

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years' relevant manufacturing experience, or an Associate degree with 2 years' experience.
• Minimum 2 years' leadership experience supervising 20+ people.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline preferred.
• 5+ years' experience within the food manufacturing industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Production Supervisors and train employees to maximize quality and productivity.
• Manage production processes and coach employee performance.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs.
• Review reporting requirements and ensure timely submissions.
• Plan process improvements and optimize yields while controlling costs.
• Ensure USDA requirements and food safety programs are followed.
• Lead teams to reduce downtime and turnover via teamwork.
