Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum one year in a manufacturing setting; three years in poultry preferred.
• Experience leading teams and managing schedules.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, USDA/OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production line personnel to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Deploy and rotate staff to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure accurate daily reporting (attendance, yields, etc.).
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve throughput.
• Lead process improvements and monitor performance metrics.
• Coordinate with QA to maintain sanitary, food-safe operations.
• Mentor and train employees; administer performance actions.
• Enforce safety policies and PPE usage; promote zero-accident culture.
• Collaborate with other shifts to meet site goals.
• Learn and adhere to any applicable union contract.
