Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC seeks a Field Supervisor to oversee broiler farms and serve as the primary link between growers and the company. You will monitor house conditions, bird welfare, and implement company policies to optimize performance and cost efficiency.

The role requires strong communication, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to coordinate feed, chick placement, and mortality reporting across locations in North Carolina. PPTs and safety programs are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ live poultry experience in a similar environment.
• Knowledge of animal welfare and food production regulatory requirements.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel) and math.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between the Company and contract growers, providing technical guidance and ensuring company expectations.
• Provide chick placement, catch and feed withdrawal timing as directed.
• Monitor flock conditions and equipment settings to ensure welfare and compliance with policies.
