Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a field supervisor to oversee broiler farms and act as the company representative to contracted growers. You will monitor house conditions, bird welfare, and provide technical guidance to improve performance and reduce costs.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and initiative to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and safety program objectives. Flexibility to travel between locations is needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with required experience or an associate degree in Poultry Science or Agricultural Science.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in poultry production or similar environment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Company and contract growers, providing technical advice on specifications and best practices.
• Provide chick placement, catch and feed withdrawal timings to growers.
• Monitor flocks for bird comfort and equipment settings; report noncompliance.
• Track mortality rates and communicate anomalies to relevant personnel.
• Maintain feed inventories and coordinate deliveries to growers.
• Follow safety policies and participate in zero-accident initiatives.
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.
