Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms seeks a Farm Supervisor to oversee broiler farms for contracted growers. You will monitor house conditions, bird welfare, and implement company specifications, sanitation, and biosecurity protocols to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.

Reporting to the Farm Operations team, you will coordinate feed deliveries, track flock performance, assist with litter and equipment standards, and lead a safety-minded, accuracy-focused work style across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ live poultry experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements surrounding animal welfare and food production.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Company and contract growers providing technical advice on company expectations.
• Provide chick placement, catch and feed withdrawal times to growers.
• Monitor assigned flocks to ensure producers comply with policies and regulations.
• Track and record bird mortality, reporting anomalies to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain feed tank inventories and coordinate timely feed deliveries.
• Follow and promote all safety initiatives to maintain a zero-accident culture.
