Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Field Poultry Supervisor to oversee breeder farms and coordinate with contracted growers in Texas. You will monitor house conditions, bird welfare, and farm performance while providing expert technical guidance and cost-reduction recommendations.

The role involves evaluating farm conditions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, and maintaining flock data. Strong communication and Excel skills are required for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years live poultry experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements surrounding animal welfare and food production.
• Ability to identify noncompliance of guidelines and provide consultative recommendations to growers.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Company and contract growers, providing expert technical advice on farm standards and biosecurity.
• Evaluate grower farms against company, regulatory, and legal guidelines and provide improvement recommendations.
• Track, compile, and analyze flock data such as weight, mortality, and egg production.
• Monitor flocks and farm conditions to ensure adherence to safety, welfare, and regulatory requirements.
