Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in the United States is seeking a field Supervisor to oversee broiler farms for contracted growers. You will monitor house conditions and bird welfare, provide technical assistance, and implement company policies and best practices.

You will liaise between the company and growers, track mortality, coordinate feed deliveries, ensure safety, and travel between locations as needed; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ live poultry experience in a similar environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements surrounding animal welfare and food production.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel) and math competence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Customer-focused with the ability to communicate with internal and external customers promptly.
• Highly organized with ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee broiler farms as Company representative to contracted growers.
• Provide technical advice to growers on company expectations and best practices.
• Act as liaison between Company and contract growers regarding specifications and procedures.
• Monitor flocks for bird comfort and equipment settings; report noncompliance.
• Track and report bird mortality and coordinate feed deliveries.
• Follow safety initiatives and wear PPE; travel between locations as needed.
