Saab AB in the United States seeks a Post-Delivery Program Manager to oversee sustainment activities for fielded DoD systems. The role emphasizes program governance, risk management, and continuous improvement, with travel up to 15% and clearance requirements for sensitive programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience in Project Management.
• Proficiency with Word, Visio, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, decentralized environment.
• Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma quality concepts.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Must currently hold a Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary post-delivery point of contact with program leadership, customers, and Saab teams.
• Provide leadership and oversight of depot and customer support activities.
• Manage Basic Orders, including quotes, PO reviews, and task orders.
• Handle spares/repair quoting, orders, and service contract proposals for integration efforts.
• Coordinate service event planning with internal teams and customers.
• Support field technicians and coordinate parts for troubleshooting.
• Coordinate spares and repairs with Contracts, Finance, CM, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Test.
• Track on-time delivery and key program metrics to meet cost/schedule/quality goals.
• Contribute to revenue forecasts and order projections in financial planning cycles.
• Analyze failure trends and drive RCCA, communicating findings to customers.
• Complete system handovers with Production PM for clear transition of responsibilities.
• Develop customer reports and present PMR updates to Saab and customers.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Travel up to 15% annually domestically and internationally.
