Job summary

Saab AB in the United States seeks a Post-Delivery Program Manager to oversee sustainment activities for fielded DoD systems. You will coordinate with program leadership, customers, and Saab teams to ensure quality, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and experience in managing spares, repairs, and service contracts, with travel up to 15% and a clear transition of responsibilities at handovers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience in Project Management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Visio, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, decentralized environment.
• Understanding of quality and continuous improvement concepts (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Must currently hold a Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for post-delivery activities with leadership, customers, and stakeholders.
• Provide programmatic leadership of depot and customer support activities, including prioritization and resource planning.
• Manage Basic Order Agreements with quoting, PO reviews, and Task Order Management.
• Oversee spares and repair quoting, order management, and service contract proposals for integration, testing, and training.
• Coordinate service event planning with Technical Support Manager, customers, Saab engineers, and field technicians.
• Track on-time delivery and key program metrics across sustainment activities.
• Assist Saab's financial planning with revenue forecasts and order projections.
• Develop customer reports and present updates during PMRs.
• Ensure compliance with Saab SOPs and identify process improvements.
• Travel up to 15% annually (domestic and international).
