Job summary

McKesson is seeking a results-driven Account Manager for Post-Acute Care covering Maine and Eastern New Hampshire. In a remote, field-based role you will manage existing accounts while developing new business opportunities across LTC, SNF, home health, hospice and related settings.

You will serve as a trusted advisor, leveraging consultative sales strategies to improve operational efficiency, support patient care, and help customers achieve clinical and business goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 4+ years of relevant sales experience, managing customer accounts and growing territory revenue.
• Experience meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue goals.
• Experience conducting business reviews and utilizing a consultative sales approach.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Healthcare sales experience in post-acute settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned territory of post-acute care customer accounts.
• Develop new business through prospecting, referrals, and strategic account planning.
• Conduct customer business reviews to identify growth opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
• Present solutions that align customer needs with medical-surgical products and services.
• Negotiate agreements and secure product distribution opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, and sales leadership to support customer needs and complex opportunities.
• Deliver a high level of customer service before, during, and after the sale.
