Job summary

TRUNO is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to respond to service requests at customer sites within the assigned territory. You will troubleshoot, repair, and test POS hardware, laser printers, meat scales, wrappers, and network equipment, ensuring thorough testing and precise documentation.

Travel within a 150-mile radius is typical with limited overnight stays; strong customer service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in IT or related field (preferred).
• At least 1 year in technology service (preferred).
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office (required).
• CompTIA A+/Network+ certifications preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests timely with updates and thorough documentation.
• Interact with store personnel and Truno team in a positive, clear manner.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight stays.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test in-store equipment to verify functionality.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS hardware and related devices.
• Install and upgrade software/hardware as needed.
