Job summary

Truno Retail Technology Solution, Inc. is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to respond promptly to service requests at customer sites within the assigned territory.

You will troubleshoot, repair and thoroughly test POS hardware, laser printers, meat scales, wrappers, and network equipment, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control. This role requires after-hours availability, travel up to 150 miles with limited overnight stays, and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology or related Technology Field preferred
• Minimum 1 year of technology service experience preferred
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required
• Experience with electronics/technology hardware preferred
• Excellent customer service orientation required
• Proficient with use of basic hand tools and test equipment required
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong problem solving and multi-tasking abilities

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests timely and document details accurately
• Interact with store personnel in a positive manner
• Maintain regular hours and after-hours availability as needed
• Travel within 150-mile radius with limited overnight stays
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test in-store equipment
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS hardware and related devices
• Configure software/hardware, and perform installs/upgrades as needed
• Maintain vehicle, tools, and company resources and inventory
• Maintain knowledge of equipment sold and supported in territory
• Adhere to deadlines and company policies
