Job summary

TRUNO is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to promptly respond to service requests across the assigned territory. You will troubleshoot and repair POS hardware, laser printers, meat scanners, wrappers, and network gear while maintaining accurate records and parts inventory.

The role requires excellent customer service, ability to work independently or in a team, and willingness to travel within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• 1 year of technology service experience preferred; retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests promptly and document detail of service calls.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test in-store equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS hardware and related equipment.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius; overnight travel limited as needed.
• Maintain inventory and keep tools, vehicle, and credentials in good order.
• Operate with confidentiality and comply with company policies.
