Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions seeks a POS Field Service Technician to deliver on-site support for customer sites, troubleshoot POS hardware, printers, scales, and related devices, and perform installs and tests as needed.

The role requires travel within a 150-mile radius with occasional overnight stays, strong customer service, and solid hardware knowledge. You will document activities and maintain inventory while upholding confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year technology service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• Practical experience with electronics/hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests timely and document details.
• Interact with store personnel and TRUNO team positively.
• Maintain regular and after-hours availability.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight stays.
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test in-store equipment.
• Use basic tools and test equipment in daily tasks.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS hardware and related devices.
• Configure software/hardware and perform installs/upgrades as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
