Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solution, Inc. is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to respond promptly to service requests across a defined territory.

You will troubleshoot and repair POS hardware, laser printers, scales, and network gear, while maintaining inventory and accurate documentation. The role requires travel within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight stays, attention to confidentiality, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in IT or related field (Preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of technology service experience (Preferred).
• Prior retail experience (Preferred).
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office (Required).
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications (Preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills (Required).

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests promptly and document details.
• Interact with store personnel and TRUNO team clearly.
• Maintain regular hours with after-hours availability.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight stays.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test in-store equipment for proper function.
• Use basic power tools as part of duties.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS hardware and other equipment.
• Configure software/hardware and perform installs/upgrades.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and meet deadlines.
• Care for company vehicle, credit card, and tools.
